According to the World Health Organization, a chronic disease is: “a health problem requiring care for several years or several decades.”

Amongst others, the following health problems are considered chronic diseases:

  • Diabetes
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Osteoporosis
  • Hypertension
  • Cancer
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Asthma
  • Arthritis
  • Stroke
