Entité 4 is governed by a 9-member volunteer Board with three directors appointed from the catchment area of each LHIN.

CENTRAL REGION


NARJISS LAZRAK – PRESIDENT

LORI-ANN SEWARD

  • Executive Director of the Communauté du Trille Blanc, an organization focused on creating a village for Francophone seniors in the Greater York Region
  • Held positions such as Director of Residential Programs for Women at Cornerstone to Recovery (Newmarket-Barrie), Relationship Manager at United Way Simcoe Muskoka, and Social Project Manager at La Clé de la Baie (Simcoe County) – where she also served as Board Chair from 2010 to 2019
  • A passionate volunteer who has contributed to organizations like Barrie Families Unite, Guitars to Kids, Kempenfelt Rotary Club, New Path Youth and Family Services, Community Radio, the Cultural Centre, and the Children’s Aid Society

DOMINIQUE DAWAN

  • Started his career in community work as a Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS) at the Centre Francophone du Grand Toronto for two years
  • Joined the MonAvenir Catholic School Board in 2020 as a Community Liaison Officer for the Simcoe-Muskoka, York, and Peel regions
  • Holds a master’s degree in Auditing and Management Control from Côte d’Ivoire, as well as certificates in Accounting from O’Sullivan College in Quebec, and in Financial Management and Project Disbursement from SETYM International, Montreal
CENTRAL EAST REGION

MIREILLE HUNEAULT – VICE-PRESIDENT

° More than 27 years of experience working within the Mental Health sector
° Contributed to the creation and growth of French Language Services and programs at CMHA Durham
° Led the charge in building internal support for the identification of CMHA Durham for the provision of French Language Services
° Passionate member of the Francophone community in the Central East region for more than 40 years

LUC BONAVENTURE AMOUSSOU

  • Regional Director at Collège Boréal in Hamilton and the Niagara Region
  • Board member of the Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario (AFO) since April 2021, representing the Francophone Racial and Ethnocultural Minorities sector (FREM)
  • Taught French linguistics at York University’s French Studies Department and at Glendon Campus, as well as Political Science and Religious Studies at the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA)
  • Passionate about the French language and Francophonie, he strongly believes in and promotes active offer of health services in French everywhere he goes

° More than 10 years of experience working with various social and community organizations in Simcoe County (Francophone and Anglophone), as well as those involved in education, employment and immigration.
