Entité 4 is governed by a 9-member volunteer Board with three directors appointed from the catchment area of each LHIN.

CENTRAL REGION

YVES LÉVESQUE – PRESIDENT

° Executive Director of the Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques
° Former School Board Trustee for York Region as well as Chair of the Board for the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud, now known as MonAvenir
° Expertise in business management, governance, community involvement, strategic management and local Ontario politics
° Greatly interested and involved in education, health, Francophone affairs and communications

MIREILLE HUNEAULT – TREASURER

° More than 27 years of experience working within the Mental Health sector
° Contributed to the creation and growth of French Language Services and programs at CMHA Durham
° Led the charge in building internal support for the identification of CMHA Durham for the provision of French Language Services
° Passionate member of the Francophone community in the Central East region for more than 40 years

° Registered nurse practitioner with strong ties to the Central East Francophone community
° Passionate about providing high-quality care in French
° Experienced in providing community outreach and implementing a collaborative approach to health care delivery
° Worked extensively with marginalized and vulnerable populations

NORTH SIMCOE MUSKOKA REGION

SAVERIA CARUSO – BOARD SECRETARY

° More than 40 years of experience working in the education sector.
° Recently completed studies to become a social worker.
° Longstanding volunteer at Chigamik Community Health Centre.
° Passionate about building access to health services in French.

° Graduate in Social Communications and Community Economic Development
° Regional Director at Collège Boréal in Barrie
° Member of the Board of Directors of Simcoe Muskoka Literacy Network and La Clé
° More than 10 years of experience working with various social and community organizations in Simcoe County (Francophone and Anglophone), as well as those involved in education, employment and immigration.
