Entité 4 is governed by a 9-member volunteer Board with three directors appointed from the catchment area of each LHIN.
CENTRAL LHIN REGION
YVES LÉVESQUE – BOARD CHAIR
° Community Liaison Officer for Conseil scolaire catholique Mon Avenir
° Formely school councillor for York Region as well as Chairman of the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud, now known as Mon Avenir
° Experienced in business management, governance, community movements, strategic management and local Ontario politics
° Greatly interested and involved in education, health, Francophone matters and communications
NARJISS LAZRAK – VICE-PRESIDENT
° Involved in Conseil scolaire Viamonde as member of the Parent Teacher Committe
° Regional director of the Association Parents Partenaires, and member of the participative parent committee of Conseil scolaire Viamonde
° Wants to help Ontarian Francophone communities to offer new French-language services and improve existing ones
° Lives in Vaughan and her main areas of expertise are real estate, small businesses, and accounting
° Managing Director of Bommerang Health, the SickKids clinic located in Vaughan
° Director of International Education for SickKids in Toronto
° Health care professional and experienced speaker on a range of topics including leadership, stakeholder engagement and global health
° Passionate about enhancing health services for children and improving the patient experience
CENTRAL EAST LHIN REGION
° Born in Cameroun and father of three
° Founding member of the Association Familles de l’Est, created in 2010 to help Francophone immigrant families flourish in Durham Region
° Presently teaches at the elementary level. Previously taught high school
° Helps newcomers with their social integration
° Member of many community organizations which support new immigrants
° Member of the parent council at Ange Gabriel Catholic Elementary School
° Manager of Finance at Mevotech
° Many years of experience in finance and accounting. Graduate of York University’s Internationally Educated Professionals Bridging Program.
° Presently completing a Bachelor degree in Gerontology, Laurentian University
° Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Ottawa University
° Very involved in the Francophone community and commited to improving access to health services in French for Francophones in Ontario.
NORTH SIMCOE MUSKOKA LHIN REGION
° Graduate in Social Communications and Community Economic Development
° Regional Director at Collège Boréal in Barrie
° Member of the Board of Directors of Simcoe Muskoka Literacy Network and La Clé
° More than 10 years of experience working with various social and community organizations in Simcoe County (Francophone and Anglophone), as well as those involved in education, employment and immigration.
JEAN BOUCHARD – TREASURER
° Involved in education and literacy, he has held various public administration and school principal positions in Quebec and Alberta
° Master negotiator, he participated in the elaboration of important collective agreements in the public and private sectors
° Passionate about all aspects of education, he is actively involved with Ontario Francophones
LYNE AUDETTE – BOARD SECRETARY
° Physiotherapist for more than 25 years, has worked in 3 different provinces (Quebec, Saskatchewan and Ontario).
° For the last 9 years, has worked as a part-time physiotherapist at Barrie Community Health Centre.
° Mother of 3 children who have received their education in Ontario elementary schools. Involved in many volunteer activities while children were attending école élémentaire Frère André in Barrie.
° Particularly interested in health promotion.
